The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has stated that there are no issues with imported chicken and blood meat products.
All this was announced in response to reports by some writers that some people had brought rotten meat into the country. The petitioners said that the meat of various species in the country is the meat of animals slaughtered about a year ago. They added that because the meat is stored for a very long time, certain chemicals have been treated to prevent it from spoiling, and these chemicals can cause serious harm to anyone.
This has led to the FDA in Ghana completely eliminating these issues. It is explained that all the chicken and meat products imported into the country undergo various inspections before being allowed to enter the market. For this reason, every effort will be made to ensure that every aspect of the market is safe.
