The world’s richest man, Elon Reeve Musk FRS has purchased Twitter for 44 billion dollars.
The founder, CEO, and chief engineer of SpaceX; angel investor, CEO, and product architect of Tesla, Inc.; founder of the Boring Company; co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAI; president of the Musk Foundation has since started putting some measures in place after taking over.
One of the new measures by the business magnate has it that he will begin to charge Twitter users for the blue tick known otherwise as verification badge.
Every user who wants the barge or those already verified and will want to maintain it will have to be paying 8 dollars every month.
The latest measure on the micro blogging platform states that he will be suspending parody accounts permanently.
“Any Twitter handle engaging in impersonation without clearly specifying ‘parody’ will be permanently suspended.”
He has suspended multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Medikal’s account after he impersonated President Akufo-Addo by using his picture as his DP.
