A 42-year-old woman named Stella from the Volta region traveled to Accra with her husband, also known as Ayekwei in search of work. She started trading and her husband also got a job as a teacher and lived happily. Years later, Ayikwei attitude towards her changed and he no longer had a nice conversation with her as he used to do.
 Moreover, her husband usually comes home with one of his female colleague claiming that she is his sister, but one day he caught them romancing each other in their room after she came work. She was so surprised about what she discovered but she kept quiet about it. From that day on, her husband stopped eating the food she prepared, but the man lied to her that doctors has advised him not eat late in the night.
 She believed him and stopped cooking for him but she later discovered that Ayikwei has giving money to her stepdaughter to prepare food for him meanwhile it is her duty to do that. A few months later, her stepdaughter too behave badly every time her husband went to work. Instead of the child interacting with her and doing the household chores with her, the young girl stay indoors for the whole day, she only comes out cooks for her father.
Stella said she became worried about the whole situation so she complained to her husband about her stepdaughter’s behavior However, Ayikwei got angry and told her that he was no longer interested in marriage. He packed out her belongings from his bedroom and threw it outside the compound, stating that he has divorced her. Stella claims she informed her mother-in-law to settle this issue, but her husband did not listen to the advice given to him. The woman stated that she loves her husband and she is pleading with him to accept her back.
