Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is a Ghanaian-born producer and reggae-dancehall musician. He is known by his stage name Shatta Wale.
His best-known song is “Dancehall King”, which led to winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Ghana Awards.
Since he has released over 2000 songs and in the vice of Shatta Wale, he eats and drinks anything music. However, less than 100 out of the 2000 songs became a hit song for obvious reasons.

But for Ruthy of Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, Shatta Wale’s “On God” song which was released a few months ago hits differently. That is to say, that song is nothing but divine!
To Ruthy’s best knowledge, ‘On God’ song lyrics were given straight to Shatta Wale by God in his dream reason why that song carries so much spiritual weight.
