Sometimes one wonder whether our society has no character within it people, especially when the entirety of human race has Leaders. You begin to wonder if there are any more characters left as leaders who can be open enough to speak to authority to avoid consequences in our society and the nation at large.
Leaders ascend to places of authority and it is surprising how they quickly forget how they got to such pedestals. Presidents, Chiefs and other opinion leaders some religious leaders rise to such offices of repute and are quick not to remember the very tenets that they stood for.
We experience difficulty as nations, among other economic crises because some leaders among the above mentioned leadership refuses to point or speak to such authorities responsible to effect such changes directly. It is interesting to know that some crises can be prevented when basic measures are taken yet we all look on the bad practices and turn our faces aside while it continues till something wrong happens then we begin to murmur and pour out what is supposed to be done. What a waste we can behave sometimes?
Sometimes people only speak out when it affects them and have some interest and others refuse to talk at all due to the fear of been associated to unusual names. Yet these very people, who are supposed leaders, have believe systems which speaks contrary to their act. We forget that every fiber of our life is connected and the moment aw we deal with others and leave other ones out poses some danger to the others we feel we have dealt with and so we come back to nothing.
Can we just treat all sectors of our lives the same and with some importance. Not only when it threatens an aspect of our lives before we speak out. If it is about the Economy, LGBTQ+, Education, Health, Agriculture, Mining, Tourism, Religion and other similar sector crises, we should be seen passionately having a discuss for positive implementation. Because that alone with our character can help us reach the expected end.
