Kurt Okraku Hails MTN Partnership Ahead of World Cup

The president of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has hailed the successful one year deal with giant telecommunication network, MTN.

The FA’s deal with MTN makes the telecom giants headline sponsor of the senior National team, Black Stars.

The $2Million dollar deal is aimed at cushioning the Black Stars towards the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

“MTN joined us on the FA Cup train when nobody believed in product, when nobody believed in the FA Cup brand.

“And today we’ve announced fresh partnership between the Football Association and MTN in support of our Black Stars for the upcoming football festival up to January 2024 when hopefully we compete in the AFCON.” Kurt Okraku said at the press conference.

The Black ware paired in group H alongside old foes, Uruguay, Portugal and South Korea for the global football festival that starts in the 16 days.

The Black Stars are making their fourth appearance at the World Cup.
