Manchester United are reportedly ready to capture the signature of former Stoke City and PSG player, Eric Choupo-Moting as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Red Devils are in the market for an experienced striker after injuries to Antony Martial and the unsettledness of Cristiano Ronaldo. The club made efforts to sign Marco Arnautovic in the summer transfer window but the move broke down after the Italian side made a high valuation for the former West Ham player.
Currently playing for Bayern Munich, Choupo-Moting has been in an incredible form this season and is currently on a hot streak after scoring in 5 consecutive matches.
Bayern Munich will be willing to cash in on the player as the German club are also focused on signing a young talent to lead their team after the sale of Robert Lewandoski to Barcelona last summer. The German club are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea’s Kai Havertz and could start negotiations as early as January.Â
