Musician Urges Ghanaians To Support Prez To Fix The Country And Avoid Criticisms That Cannot Help

A Kumasi based renowned reggae musician, Mr Jackson Elvis Etuah has alleged that Ghanaians who have been attacking Nana Akuffo Addo on a wrongful note should consider themselves as citizens who does not have the country at heart.

And that such citizens should be dealt with when they are caught in the act of peddling falsehood against the president of the land.

At a press conference this afternoon in reaction to the state of the nation’s address delivered by the president recently, Mr Etuah commended Nana Akuffo Addo for bringing out the statement.

Jackson Elvis Etuah who also doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of the Unity Link Foundation in Kumasi hinted that the President’s address can be seen as a relief to Ghanaians.

The musician posited that the president as a man who believes in transparency conceded the fact that the country is in crisis.

And was able to trace the sources of the economic challenges.

According to the reggae musician who also goes by a stage name Papa Jay, though the country is in hard times, the president gave the assurance to fix it since Roman was not built in a day.

He said Nana Akuffo Addo linked the source of the country’s crisis to the covid-19 pandemic, Russia and Ukraine war that have devastated many economies at the global level.

I believe the president have spoken the truth, Jackson indicated and stressed that it is now time that Ghanaians should make their homework well and support the government to fix the country and avoid criticisms.

The musician who is also the Managing Director of the Modern Films And Entertainment Network expressed worry that the government of Akuffo Addo though put measures in place to support many Ghanaians during the pandemic days.

Today many Ghanaians have been allegedly creating the impression that the president is a failure

Mr Etuah reiterated that the very people who benefited from the government grants during the time of covid -19 are the same people who are today allegedly sabotaging the country and turn out to blame the president.

Jackson Elvis Etuah cited about how traders have been allegedly increasing the prices of their goods to nearly 50 to 100 percent throughout the country by using the fuel increase as an excuses.

It is against this background that hence the musician is asking Ghanaians to give the president a break and change their mindsets towards building a happy nation for our own benefit.
