Efia Odo, a socialite in Ghana, has publicly placed the responsibility for the country’s current economic problems on Akufo Addo calling him a bofrot president for obvious reasons.
She blames the President for the current state of economic “chaos.”
“You caused this chaos…” she tweeted in reaction to the President’s address on the state of Ghana’s economy on Sunday and proceeded to call the President names.
The actress’s criticism is only the latest in a slew of negative responses to the president’s speech on Sunday night in Ghana.

Many Ghanaians are suffering the effects of the current economic crisis in the country.
The persistent devaluation of the local currency, together with growing inflation and a drop in other macroeconomic metrics, is indicative of the difficulty.
Nonetheless, in his address to the country last night, the President reaffirmed his confidence that the conclusion of the government’s current discussions with the IMF would help restore the economy.
He also suggested cutting imports and keeping the 30% pay cut for all government officials in place as ways to kickstart the economy.
Efia Odo is just one of many Ghanaians who have resorted to social media to criticize the President’s message, calling it “hollow.”
