The former Burniton Group signee Okailey Version shortened as OV narrates her horrendous experience after she exited the group.
In an interview with Giovani Caleb on 3FMDrive on Monday, the songstress explained that she went through a lot when the whole thing happened. She didn’t understand why she was caught in the middle as Stonebwoy and his former manager Blakk Cedi feud started. As innocent as she was, it affected her greatly.
She was depressed and traumatized when the whole thing happened in 2020 because she didn’t see it coming. The depression led her to her being off the music scene for sometime; she indicated.
She added that,she did not even wish her greatest enemy to go through depression,as it is she knew what it means to be traumatized.
The “Want Me” hit maker which she featured her former boss Stonebwoy, after fighting with her depression bounced back into the music scene with a deep lyrical song that can lead everyone into deep thinking when listening to it,she titled this song “Shush”.
OV has announced her come back with this tune and I hope she stays to make us feel the Bob Marley version in her.
