I Felt Heartbroken With “Sika Mpe Dede” Remark-KKD Breaks Silence On Prez Speech; Suggests A Phrase

Kwesi Kyei Darkwah also known as KKD, an ace broadcaster has proven beyond measure his bravery and is unperturbed to speak truth to power regardless of the verbal attacks by foot party sympathizers and political fanatics.

The gentleman has been vocal of late and with an eye to see better governance has been speaking up about the ills of the society most especially about the ruling class whose job it is to implement policies to improve upon the living standards of the masses.

Granting an interview to Benjamin Akakpo this morning within the studio of Joynews, the media practitioner spoke about the president’s last night’s address to the nation after his introduction and revealed how heartbroken he was to have heard the “Sika Mpe Dede” remark from him.

In addition, he opined that the country is in a pinch and the masses who are concerned with the economic hardship and the rapid depreciation of the cedi, have the right to voice out their grievances and that doesn’t mean when one complains about the currency, it will devalue.

He suggested that the best phrase which should have been used is “Money doesn’t smell” and this is about the administration of the president and issues of corruption.

“A man known for corruption was sacked by the former President and this same individual has been appointed to head the public procurement authority and this means the president has no problem with money no matter the smell of it or where it comes from,” he concluded.
