Watermelon is also a very good remedy for the treatment of high blood pressure. Seeds of watermelon should be dried, roast them and make powder. This remedy is very effective for lowering blood pressure.

Boiled potato is a valuable remedy for maintain blood pressure. Potato contain potassium, sodium salt and magnesium, these all effects very well for lowering blood pressure.

Another splendid remedy for treating high blood pressure is Indian gooseberry. Take one spoon, gooseberry juice and mix it with honey. Take this mixture early in the morning with empty stomach.

Rauwolfia is a very useful herb in the treatment of high blood pressure. This effects directly on hypertension or high blood pressure. Roots of Rauwolfia is taken in the form of powder, take this powder three time in a day.

Diet:

Patient of hypertension should take a well-balanced diet and exercise is very essential. Patient should avoid meat and eggs, these foods can be caused for rising blood pressure. Use a lower protein diet such as fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoid salt.
