Kissi Boateng, a former TP Mazembe player, further stressed on the fact that Ghanaian club administrators refusal to invest in clubs additionally lowers standards.

“If you can’t sacrifice to put more in it, then I’m not sure you are ready for the task”.

“It( Hearts of Oak, Kotoko), was not up to most of the top clubs who were playing the African competitions”.

“Due to the facilities and the professionalism, I’m not sure those clubs are up to professionalism.

Because the bigger clubs are putting in more in it to earn less”.

Boateng won both the CAF Champions league and confederations cup with TP Mazembe.

Ghana’s two glamorous clubs, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko exited the continental campaign in a dramatic fashion much to the chagrin of the clubs fans.
