Ghanaian gospel sensation Diana Hamilton, has again added yet another award to her collection of awards by emerging as the ‘Gospel Artiste Of The Year’ at the 2022 Ghana Music Awards UK.
The event, which is in its sixth year, came off at the Royal Regency Palace Manor Park in London last weekend and it is the third consecutive time Diana is winning this award after she won the category in the year 2020 and 2021.Â
Diana Hamilton took opportunity to perform her latest release ‘My Meditations’ and also sang others ‘Nyame Aye Bi’ and ‘Adom’.
In her acceptance speech, she said, “this is God. when my words fail me, may my heart do the talking. God bless you for your support.” She thanked God for the life of her industry colleague Joyce Blessing, who accompanied her to receive the award, her manager, family and husband.
The 2022 Ghana National Gospel Music Awards Artiste of the year received six nominations and walked home with one. She recently released her new single, “My Meditations”, which is available on all streaming platforms.
It was a night of thrills and fun-packed performances from artists such as Samini, Hajia4reall, Fancy Gadam, and Lasmid et al who kept the audience up on their feet dancing throughout the event.
