Black Sheriff Crowned Artiste of The Year

Young musician, Black Sheriff has been crowned Artiste of the Year at the just ended Ghana Music Awards, UK Edition.

The “Ghetto Preacher” came close to winning the award at the local edition of the Ghana Music Award but was dethroned by Lynx musician, Kidi who also had an impressive year in the music scene.

The versatile singer also won the award for Best New Artiste as well as the Hiplife/Hip Hop song of the year.

Black Sheriff’s rise to stardom has been remarkable this past year. The Artiste has been one of the biggest music exports from Ghana in the last one year. His latest album “The Villian I never Was” has also been ranked as one of the best albums and is currently making waves on music charts.

The “Soja” singer is currently on tour as part of promotional activities for this latest album and therefore was unavailable to pick up the award at the event.
