Fixthecountry Conveynor, Oliver Barker-Vormawor has asserted that Ghana needs a new constitution or it will soon perish.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Sunday, 30th October 2022, he wrote;
“Hear me! A New Constitution or this country will soon perish. Mark my words. We will back in this crisis again. Even if we get out of it at some point.”
Oliver Barker’s comments comes in wake of economic crisis facing Ghana. The Ghana cedi has been on free fall, causing massive depreciation. Following that, prices of goods and services have gone up. Transport fares has also been increased to correspond with increasing fuel prices.
