Gospel Musician Ewura Abena has made a chilling revelation about how suicidal thoughts once crept into her mind.
She revealed that she pondered over the hardships she was going through back then and the alternative solution to her was suicide only.
“At some point, I contemplated suicide. I wanted to take my life, and my two kids as well, so no one mistreats them,” she recalled.
The gospel songstress is best known for her popular song “Agye Menkwa” featuring Nacee who doubles as a music producer and engineer.
she further stated that distress was part of her woes which forced her into those scary thoughts.
“Seriously, there are times you don’t want to see the next day because your debtors will come for their money. You don’t know where your meal will come from. I’m saying all these from experiences,” the singer further disclosed to Emmanuel Agyeman otherwise called Braa Emma and Larry Da Oldman on Onua FM’s Anigye Mmere Entertainment And Lifestyle Show.
She ceased the opportunity to encourage people who are going through tough times not to take their lives because God is abled and can turn things around for them.
“Listen to people’s testimonies and encourage yourself. If God can do it for others, he will do it for you. It’s difficult but don’t let any one deceive you that it’s easy. Don’t kill your self because suicide is not an option”.
“I look at my self today and say I would have missed a lot because I love this peace I have now. I don’t have everything, yet I have his peace knowing that God will take care of his own,” she concluded.
She is out with a new tune dubbed “This Far”.
