John Mahama commends ‘Gobe Eaters Association’; says they’re saving Ghana critical foreign exchange

Let the dice fall where they may and let those who sit on the fence continue to do so in these difficult times but there is a time coming whereby a deliverer will emerge to save the country from crises. Great leaders like John Mahama always understand the plight of their people and empathize with them.

The former President has proven beyond measure that he has the country at heart and wouldn’t stand by for things to deteriorate. Hence, his public address organized yesterday at the UPSA auditorium sought to provide tangible solutions to those ruling the country.

His speech will surely awaken the whole government machinery to sit up and do what is needed to ease the suffering of the masses.

Some of the Keynotes in his presentation include greater transparency in public procurement, advising the military to abide by the constitution, halting the construction of the cathedral with public funds, and reducing the size of government.

The former president also proposed some domestic remedies which include the consumption of local produce because over-reliance on foreign commodities puts pressure on the Ghanaian currency. He subsequently commended those who patronize essentials such as beans popularly known as ‘globe’ and porridge.
