Ex-Ghana striker, Prince Tagoe is confident that the vibe surrounding the national team will be resurrected when the 2022 FIFA World Cup begins.
The reactions that characterizes Black Stars tournament participation looks to have lowered due to various reasons.
Tagoe, who played for Ghana at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa believes the interest will be generated when the tournament starts in Qatar next month.
“It’s just a matter of time because just recently we were doubting whether we will be able to qualify for the World Cup but God being so good, we were able to do that.
“I could see that you could feel the energy even the game we had in Kumasi and when they went away in Nigeria.
“You could have a little feel that everything is coming back.
“Right now everybody is just praying that the tournament will start and everybody will just put their weight behind the Black Stars.” Prince Tagoe told Radio Gold Talk Sport.
