A huge crowd of bolt workers has been recorded on the camera staging a protest at the ‘s head office in Accra. These workers are food couriers who transport food to bolt customers at a fee. According to these workers, the cost of fuel and maintaining their motorcycles are expensive these days because of the rapid increase of goods in the country. As a result of this, the management should increase their wages or they will not work again.
The management after listening to them said that they should give them seven working days to consider their proposal. This is because the only way they can increase their wages is by increasing the charges for services they render to their customers. However, the bolt food couriers are saying that they are not going to work unless their wages are increased. This is what they were overhead in the video saying, “No increment, no work”.
These bolt food couriers were about 80 to 100, and they packed their motorcycles waiting for management to increase their salaries instantly.
