Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay has disclosed that a lot of Ghanaians made fun of her when she disclosed she was suffering a “broken heart”.
A few weeks ago, Wendy Shay took to her Twitter page to disclose that while she was busy chasing her dreams and music career, her ‘so-called’ best friend was busy chasing her man. She disclosed that her best friend betrayed their trust.

She wrote, “It’s hard for Hardworking women to get genuine love. Whiles, I was on the road chasing my Passion my so-called best friend was also chasing my man and now they are together So ShayGang excuse me for my language, this song is very personal.“

Speaking in an interview with Giovanni Caleb on 3FM Drive, Wendy stated that she chose to make money from her pain with her song titled “Survivor” while some Ghanaian made fun of her.
She said, “I had a feeling that a lot of people or some Ghanaians chose to make fun of the fact that Wendy Shay said she is suffering from a broken heart. So I felt like If life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.”
