The President of Ghana has ordered the immediate arrest of all personalities who are involved in the forex black marketing in the dollar.

The President, Nana Addo Dankor issued this orders following the current economic challenges the country is facing. He said the arrest of all persons engaged in black marketing the dollar will help curb the present dollar situation.

President Nana Addo added that the government is taking steps to addressing the cedi dollar crisis which is worsening the country’s inflation rate. The president said those who are selling the dollar on illegal bases all contributed to the dollar deficiency in the country. A task force has just been inaugurated to search for all those engaging in such a malicious act to threaten the nation’s stability.

Further statements posed that such forex black marketers have in their possession the dollar but rather hide it to increase its price. Due to this it has been difficult to stabilize the dollar against the cedi which is deteriorating the country’s economy.

However, when all this black marketing in the forex sector is addressed properly the cedi will begin to appreciate the dollar significantly with no time. So it is therefore a pungent signal to all those engaging in black marketing of the dollar to desist or face the consequences when caught.

The task force will begin their work very soon and they maybe deployed to all parts of the country so as to be able to eradicate this malicious act draining the economy. Be good citizens by reporting such forex black marketers to the task force for them to bring the dollar down for good.

Everyone is now tasked to support the efforts of the president in solving the country’s economic challenges for the better. When this is done it will not take time for the cedi to start appreciating the dollar.
