Less than a month before the start of the 2022 World Cup, Ghana icon Charles Taylor wants the Black Stars’ head coach, Otto Addo, fired.
After qualifying for the World Cup, the national squad has failed to impress, and some have even questioned Otto Addo’s methods.
Former Black Stars player Taylor thinks Otto doesn’t have the technical know-how to lead the team in the 2022 FIFA World Cup because he played for both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
He continued, however, saying that even if Otto Addo has a lot of players to choose from, his coaching staff isn’t strong enough to be competitive.

“That is why I’ve said for Otto Addo, he is not a coach to lead Ghana to the World Cup. Because he has the team all right but he does not know how to organize them,” he told Angel TV.

“So, we should rather look for those who can put the team together so that the players who are actively playing will be handed the start while those who are not playing actively will be on the bench,” he added.
Otto Addo currently holds a record of two wins, four draws, and two defeats in 8 games.
Group H of the World Cup features the Black Stars, Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.
