Parliament reconvenes today to begin sitting for the 3rd Meeting of the Second Session of the 8th Parliament of the 4th Republic.Â
This being the 3rd Meeting, the House will be presented with the annual budget estimates for the coming year by the Finance Minister. This will be followed by debates.
The Appropriation Bill will be laid and once it is passed, and the estimates approved, the same may be expended outlined in the budget.
The Rt. Hon. Speaker is expected to address certain key issues in his traditional opening remarks. Sitting is expected to commence at 10.00 am prompt.
Many worrying issues will be discussed in Parliament mostly with on regarding the faith of Some Kwabenya member of Parliament, who’s the honorable Sarah Adwoa Sarfo over her continual absence in Parliament without due process or reasons.
Another is the partition to look at the amendment of certain aspects of the 1992 Constitution to favor the current democratic system in the country respectively.
