Manchester United are ready to bank their hopes on signing Atletico Madrid’s highly rated striker, Joao Felix.
The Portuguese international is reportedly unhappy with Coach Diego Simeone’s footballing philosophy and is looking for a move away from the club. According to sources, the player will be interested in moving to Old Trafford in search of regular playing time.
Manchester United on the other hand will be looking for a striker should Ronaldo agree to leave in the January transfer window. With Martial currently sidelined due to injury, the red devils will be ready to make an offer to the La Liga club for the services of Joao Felix.
Any deal between the two clubs has been rumoured to be a loan move for the initial 6 months before an obligation to sign the player when the summer transfer window opens. Joao Felix is very prolific in front of goal and has been rated as the man to succeed Cristiano Ronaldo in the Portuguese national team squad.
