Manasseh Azure Awuni “proverbially” jabs Okyenhene and Nana Akuffo Addo

Multiple award-winning journalists, Manasseh Azure Awuni have taken a dig at the president Nana Akuffo Addo and the Okyenhene, Osyagefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin in a Facebook post. His assertion comes on the heels of the comments the renowned Chief made about those who criticize the Akuffo Addo-led administration.

The Okyenhene on Sunday, October 23, addressed the congregation at the St. Mark Anglican Church at Kyebi and hit back at those who insult the president for the current economic hardships Ghanaians are going through, describing them as villagers, witches, and wizards who are ungrateful.

The overload of the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area urged Ghanaians to appreciate the life-changing policies this government has implemented such as the Free Senior High School policy. He further indicated that Ghanaians are going through difficult times not because of poor management of the government, but as a result of a global phenomenon.

But the Okyenhene has come under severe criticism from the Ghanaian public for his comments. The latest to express his displeasure about the statement is Manasseh Azure Awuni. In a rather proverbial manner, the ace journalist used a father-and-son scenario to establish his stance on Okyenhene’s statement.

Here are some reactions from Ghanaians to the post.
