At this juncture, let us presume nothing can be done to put a stop to illegal mining referred to as ‘galamsey’ in the local parlance which has over the years caused massive destruction to the environment:river bodies and forest reserves. Aside destruction of natural vegetation, it has also claimed a lot of lives, and sadly an innocent lady has fallen victim to this illicit act.
Captain Smart, this morning has lambasted the government due to the economic hardships the country is in currently and boldly declared that this administration has failed miserably. He urged the President to resign honorably to save the economy from plummeting further.
Sadly, the gentleman disclosed that his mother who goes by the name of Aggie gave birth to him alone and at night he weeps bitterly because he doesn’t have a sister. This was before the journalist disclosed that a certain lady had died in a galamsey pit when she woke up at night to attend to nature’s call.
The On TV host revealed that an excavator was used to lift the corpse of the said lady and this is an eyesore. He blamed the authorities and accused them of being complicit in the act.
“This young lady could have been my sister and sadly she has perished just because of someone’s greediness,” he stated.
