Issah Moro Retains Position As The Kwadaso Constituency Chairman Of The Ndc.

The incumbent chairman    for the Kumasi Kwadaso branch of the National Democratic Congress (Ndc) Mr Issah Moro has retained his position in the constituency elections held yesterday.(Saturday October 22 2022).

He defeated his contestant Mr Kwabena Appiah Kubi with 633 votes.

His contestant Appiah Kubi had 456 votes to witness his defeat.

In all 1755 delegates were expected to vote but unfortunately only 1089 delegates were present.

Out of the figure 11 ballot papers were rejected.

In his brief speech after the elections, the Ashanti Regional Deputy Organizer of the Ndc Mr Bashiru Amissah thanked the delegates and sympathizers of the Ndc for their cooperation towards successful elections.

Mr Amissah said now that the elections are over it is the collective responsibilities for all party members to work hard towards one agenda.

He explained the agenda on how to win victory in the 2024 general elections.

Stressing that before we can unseat the ruling New Patriotic Party unity and transparency must be our hallmark.

Mr Amissah on this note charged the defeated contestants to work with the winners in peace since united we stand and divided we fall.

On his part Chairman Issah congratulated the delegates for the confidence that they reposed in him.

For returning him to lead the party at the Kwadaso Constituency.

He assured to promote peace and unity among party supporters since leadership role calls for sacrifice and hard work.

Chairman Issah Moro described the elections as free, fair and transparent hence his humble appeal to the defeated contestants to come together.

And work towards victory to ensure that the country is transformed for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
