I Will Report These 2 Lawyers Because They Are A ‘Threat’ To Ghana – Maurice Ampaw

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has launched a verbal attack on two lawyers in the country for their criticism of President Akufo-Addo. According to Maurice Ampaw, if these two lawyers are allowed to keep talking they can incite chaos in the country and thus care needs to be taken to deal with them before things get out of hand.

Maurice started with lawyer Martin Kpebu and insisted that the lawyer is going around on TV stations insulting the president. According to lawyer Ampaw, Martin is a small boy and has no right to be insulting a president who has achieved so much. He lambasted TV3 for allowing Martin Kpebu to use to derail the president.

Maurice Ampaw also hit hard at NDC’s lawyer Abraham Amaliba for referring to the cedi as a toilet paper. It can be recalled that on TV3’s New Day, the NDC lawyer said the cedi had depreciated so much under Akufo-Addo that the value is now not better than a toilet paper. Maurice Ampaw explained that this comments don’t augur well and rather ignites fear into Ghanaians. He mentioned that he will report these two lawyers for their comments

“I will also go and report Martin Kpebu for calling President Akufo-Addo the head of the criminal syndicate. Crime doesn’t expire so I will also go and report. How can you sit on TV3 and say the president is incompetent? I will inform the General Legal Council to deal with them. If not, I will cause their arrest because they are trying to destroy the country by inciting violence.” Maurice Ampaw said.

Maurice Ampaw noted that he cannot sit on TV and insult Mahama and so feels offended that people with NDC backing will sit on national television to destroy the image of the president.
