Life in Ghana is becoming unbearable by the minute such that prominent people who are deemed well to do have also joined the masses to express their frustrations at the government.
The cost of living is so high and this current situation is unexpected considering the promises this Nana Addo-led administration made prior to the 2020 elections.
Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s son has vented his anger on the authorities for their inability to address the issues confronting the country. He seemed incensed at the insensitivity of those whose job it is to ensure that the needs of people are catered for.
The CEO of Kantanka group of companies, Kwadwo Safo Jnr posted on his Twitter page that “cement was GHC69.5 yesterday, today cement is GHC82. What the hell is going on? You ask the guy in charge and he answers in a rude manner. If people vote for you, means you are accountable to those people.”
This post indicate that the prices of commodities increase exponentially within a short period of time which is heavily affecting businesses across the length and breadth of the country.Â
