The alleged wee smoking allegations the traders said, have been levelled against them when Nana Akuffo Addo and his entourage were allegedly booed and hooted at Adum in Kumasi.
When he (Nana) and his entourage passed through the area on his recent four days official visit to the region.
Reacting to their actions at Adum today some of the traders told a section of journalists in an interview that the president was allegedly hooted at because they hardly see any development in Kumasi.and the region in general.

They further denied that nobody influenced them to hoot at the president., adding that they also disagreed with their critics that their actions constitute to disregard of authority.
We respect the president as a father and head of state but at a certain point of time a son can say no to the father when he continue to be hungry.
And this is what we exactly did and charged the public to understand that their actions were part of their decisions to enable the president feed his hungry children.
According to them the president been a person who have a listening ears he cannot take our actions for offences.
That is why through our actions the president has directed the Road Minister to see to it that the road challenges confronting the residents within the Kwabre East District are solved.
On the occasion they also rendered their apologies through the media to the president to forgive them if for any reasons he is offended.
