Water covers about 70 percent of the earth surface, it is essential for human beings and other living things in other to help them survive. It is colorless liquid which help human beings in their daily activities such as drink, cooking and using it to cook as well.
Water is one of the liquid that humans mostly take in other to stay hydrated in our daily life. However most people lack the knowledge of too much intake of water during the day.
When you take in too much water which is mostly not purified you may experience water poisoning, intoxication or a disruption of brain function. This happens when there is too much of water in the cells the brain cell causing them to swell.
When you drink too much of water you may start experiencing drowsiness and headache. Although water is beneficial to humans, too much intake of it may lead to some minor problem to the human health.
If this the drowsiness and the headache increases, it can cause high blood pressure and low heart rate.
Sodium is an important element that helps to keep and balance the fluid in and out of cells. When it’s level drop due to high amount of water in the body, fluids get inside the cell
It s however required to take in at least 2000 ml of water each day in other to stay hydrated.
