The associations, Conference of Heads of Basic Schools (COHBS) and the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) of the Ghana Education Service (GES) have condemned the killing of Master Sansah Sei, a JHS 2 student of Banda Nkwanta R/C in the Bole District of the Savannah Region.
The associations of GES through a press release on October 20, 2022 said they have learnt with shock and disbelief the killing of Master Sansah Sei a promising chap of the Banda Nkwanta community.
The associations condemn in no uncertain terms the killing of the JHS 2 student who was the assistant Agric prefect of his school. The incident is said to have occurred on October 15, 2022 at the school staff common room.
The associations stated that, they will leave no stone unturned in helping the police to bring the perpetrator(s) to book to they assured.
“We also wish the police employ pragmatic measures that will lead us to perpetrator(s) inorder to set our brother and colleague Mr Jude Babanbanuba, the accused headmaster of the school whose staff common room the boy was murdered free”, the press release stated.
The release also urges all teachers in and around the community and the feuding factions to calm down and lend their unflinching support to the police by providing credible and reliable information that will lead to Justice for the murdered student.
The press statement was jointly signed and issued by Chief Abdulai Jaaga, GNAT secretary, Kobina Issahaku, COHBS chairman and Tilo Infre- Ana John, COHBS secretary.
The gruesome murder of the JHS 2 student of the Banda Nkwanta JHS has since thrown the community into a state of shock and mourning.
Of late the Bole-Bamboi district has been accustomed with gruesome murder cases which has propel the overlord of the Bole traditional area, Sarfo Kutuge Feso to deploy drastic measures to curb this nuisance.
