Hearts of Oak new head coach, Slavko Matic has admitted that the club’s chances in continental football will be a big challenge.
The Serb replaces the departed Samuel Boadu who guided the Phobians to a domestic treble in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians’ last three continental campaigns have not been successful, exiting at the second qualifying stage.
Matic, 46 , says he is in to win laurels with fhe 21 time Ghana champions.
“Africa is a big challenge and I have come into a big club.
“We want to make a big success, we want to try to find ways to play good football and to have the chance to give to other players.
“Also we want to take the trophies as I said Africa is a big challenge and I have come into a big club.
“For me from today it [Hearts of Oak] is the best club in the world.” Slavic Matic told Hearts of Oak media.
