Controversial Ghanaian journalist, Captain Godsbrain Smart has bemoaned his arrest yesterday after he was picked up by twelve men from the national security.
Reacting to his arrest yesterday, the journalist said he does not know exactly what the New Patriotic Party government is so bent in taking his life.
He said what he said about the presidency involvement in the Galamsey still stands and until they arrest those involved, he will never stop talking about it.
He said on Onua TV’s Maakye mourning show that he did not know he was such an important figure in Ghana until the national security sent twelve armed men just to arrest him. He said they carried guns just to arrest him.
Captain Smart said he doe not know what he has done to the New Patriotic Party government that they hate him so much. He said only the New Patriotic Party government has arrested him three consecutive times but that will never silence him.
He justified his assertion that the presidency is involved in the Galamsey until Akufo Addo take a bold decision and prosecute his cohorts involved.
“If Akufo Addo claims he can stop the Galamsey, he should arrest chairman Wontumi. He cannot arrest him because Wontumi is using the Galamsey money to sponsor the party” he argued
