A former parliamentary candidate aspirant of the opposition National Democratic Congress at Yilo Krobo in the eastern region, Hon. Michael Ologo sends a goodwill message to Yilo NDC ahead of their constituency election.
Below is the said message to the constituents;
The beauty of democracy is not something that happens just with one event, it’s an ongoing sacrifice, commitment, and building process which has been part of our culture as a social democratic Party.
I wish all aspirants, delegates and members of our party, the National Democratic Congress NDC of Yilo Krobo peace, traveling mercies and best wishes as we hold our constituency conference this coming Saturday October. 22, 2022 to elect our executives to stir the affairs of our beloved party for the next four years.
At this very crucial moments may we have successful discussions that will go a long way to bring progress, support and growth to our party and the development of Yilo Krobo and Ghana as a wholeÂ
I wish to advise all of us that the spirit of unity and togetherness should be our guiding principle with which we conduct ourselves during this very important moments. I was an errand boy during the early days of the formation of our great NDC party, I saw the sweat, struggle, Joy, Unity, Love and sacrifices made by our forefathers to make us the great Akatamanso we are today, and we are not going to sit aloof and watch our beloved party to crash before our eyes, NEVER!.Â
Let us remain united and committed to the great Akatamanso so that we can wrestle power from this inept NPP government and deliver Ghanaians out of this economic quagmire.Â
Voting is a right best exercised by people who have taken time to learn about the issues and are well prepared to give a thumb to the best choices.
We cannot succeed unless those(Delegates) who express their choices are prepared to choose wisely to consolidate our gains on the party’s values, ideologies and principles through a peaceful competition which has added beauty to our constituency congress for the past years. We cannot drift down power from the Current government if we don’t have competent and warring minds to lead the party at the constituency level.
Wishing all aspirants with the heart to lift up the image of the umbrella community the best of luck with the hope that; Love, peace, and Unity will form the building blocks during and after the elections.
