“Hearts And Kotoko Suffered in Africa Because of These Reasons” – Ayipah

LEAGUE SUSPENSION AFFECTED KOTOKO AND HEARTS IN AFRICA – BONIFACE AYIPAH

Assistant Coach of Nsoatreman FC, Boniface Ayipah, believes the BetPawa Premier League is to be blamed for the failures of our clubs representatives in African competitions.

Coach Ayipah, stated on Gold Talk Sports emphatically that teams did not prepare themselves well in games competitions from the league that could have savaged their output.

“Is because of this, same situation that affected Kotoko and Hearts in the continental actions that they went into”, he noted.

“There was no, virtually nothing being done here.

They were not playing league and that kind.

They just went into the continental games and this is what happened”.

Hearts of Oak were eliminated by Malian side AS Real Bamako whilst rival side Asante Kotoko were eliminated by Burkinabe side RC Kadiogo from the group phase.

Hearts of Oak suffered an elimination against Malian club, AS Real Bamako.
