The founder and chief executive officer of Imani center for policy and education think tank, Franklin Cudjoe has bemoaned the soaring hardship the country is currently facing.
In a social media post, Franklin Cudjoe said that adding ‘good’ when greeting someone in this current economy can land one in serious trouble as nothing is good in Ghana now.
He said the finance minister is hopeful that the IMF will come to Ghana’s aid by November, but he does not believe in that timeline, adding that the president should come and tell Ghanaians when exactly the IMF deal will be done.
“Finance Minister is hopeful of a deal with the IMF by November. I doubt this timeline. The President must tell us exactly when he thinks the IMF deal will be done as that is the only real hope against the carnage”Â
Meanwhile, instead of praising his men for outstanding achievement in a battered economy he should have supervised the shelving of half of his government’s policies, programmes and officers that add no real value to the tattered economy.
“These days, adding ‘good’ to the time of day when greeting someone can be dangerous. Nana Addo’s economy has everyone on edge. Good afternoon all the same” he posted.
