A woman named Akua Serwaa from Kwapong tells how her son’s ghost haunting his best friends after his funeral rites. According to the woman, she is single mother who was staying with her family members and worked to cater for her kids. One day she went to her sister’s wedding with her parents and other siblings, unfortunately they had a terrible accident and she was the only survivor when the incident happened but she too became paralyzed and couldn’t walk again.
Due to this condition she was not able to work to support herself and the children too. She started preaching at an information center and depends on the offering she will get. One day, she got into an argument with the only uncle left in the family but he went to inform their pastor that if she doesn’t leave the house, he would kill her. The woman claims she was not having any place to stay with her kids so she didn’t pay attention to this threat.
The next day to her uncle tried to kill her with a cutlass for not moving out of the house, she couldn’t ran due to her disability but she mustered courage and threw a stone at his hand which caused the cutlass to fall on the ground and they began to scream for help before their neighbors came to her aid. After this incident, she left the house and went to live in a neighboring town, but her son fell ill and died a few months later.
After the funeral, his son’s closest friend, who is also a taxi driver, began screaming that her son’s ghost was haunting him. She thought it was just a joke but the young man stop going to work claiming that he always see his friend’s ghost in the car he used to work. It got to a time when the young man began attacking the woman to tell his son’s ghost to stop torturing him.
Serwaa became terrified and informed his family but they all told her that the man has got mental illness. She then filed a complaint at the police station, but his relatives convinced the police that the young man is mad that’s why he is behaving like that. The woman is pleading for help to stop her son’s best friend from attacking her
