Media General broadcasters, Godsbrain Smart, of Onua TV is reportedly arrested by the National Security. He was arrested on his way home to the office on Wednesday, 19th October 2022.
A post confirmed by Oliver Barker-Vormawor, Fixthecountry Conveynor, he wrote;
‘Captain Smart arrested violently by National Security over broadcast pointing the finger at the President for his involvement in and indulgence of Galamsey. “
A short video shared by Onua TV also confirmed his arrest. His arrest comes after he alleged some days ago that, President Akufo-Addo himself is even involved in galamsey. Following that, a letter from the Presidency warned him that, the allegation has been referred to the National Media Commission.
