It seems most Ghanaians are at loggerheads with the remarks made by President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo about the road networks in the Kwabre municipality of the Ashanti region and simply can’t wrap their heads around the whole issue.
How the first gentleman of the land was able to declare on live radio that he isn’t frightened by the threats of residents who are angry due to the bad nature of their roads is unimaginable. To add insult to injury, he stated emphatically that should the people refuse to vote for the NDC, that isn’t his worry and nobody holds their thumb to vote.Â
Innocent Ivan Kyei was all fired up this morning when he was hosted by Captain Smart in the studio of Onua Tv and shared his candid view on the comments of the President. In a hot minute, the social commentator labeled assertions made as unsavory.
He continued by saying that the then Presidential aspirant implored Ghanaian and most especially the people of the Ashanti region and they voted massively for him. Fast forward, the president whose job it is to see problems are solved is playing fast and loose.
According to him, the posture of the President indicates that he doesn’t have any plans for the country but wanted to fulfill his childhood ambition. Subsequently, Ivan revealed that the body language of the President conveyed a lack of respect and he must exhibit “civility” in his comment.
