Multifaceted Ghanaian musician, Fancy Gadam has made a remarkable donation to a children’s home in the Northern Regional capital, Tamale.
The donation (a miscellany of dozens of bags of rice, gallons of oil, drinks, crates of eggs, drinkable water, and many more) were made to the Nyohini Children’s home in Tamale on October 17, 2022.
Speaking to the media after unveiling the valuable goods, Fancy Gadam indicated generously that the kind gesture exhibited was his little way of giving back to society and saying thank you for God’s unceasing blessings on him and the people’s unflinching support on his career for the past 10 years.
He urged his colleagues to also follow suit because the less privileged needs more of such support.
“So many people have supported my career to where I am today. A lot have supported me financially and physically, so in celebrating my 10th anniversary, I see it necessary to support the less privileged with the little I have,” Fancy Gadam said.
The management of the orphanage on the other hand received the donations wholeheartedly and expressed their extreme gratitude to the award-winning singer and his management for remembering the children and showing the kind gesture.
The donation is part of the few activities to be executed as he celebrates his 10 years in active music. Other activities include a clean-up exercise in the Tamale metropolis, a football match between veteran musicians, and the new crop of creatives.
Climaxing his 10th anniversary is a concert scheduled for October 22, 2022, at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.
