The Ashanti regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Benard Antwi Bosiako popularly known in the political front as chairman Wontumi has said that the national democratic congress brought galamsey to Ghana.
Speaking this morning on Neat FM morning show, Benard Antwi Bosiako said the fight against illegal mining popularly known as Galamsey is hard because some big wigs in th National Democratic Congress is behind the menace.
He said in 2011 the National Democratic Congress seized five hundred of his excavators and two hundred and fifty of his containers and distributed it among themselves to start illegal mining.
He categorically stated that the Akufo Addo led New Patriotic Party is poised to fish them all out and arrest them for their support in the menace.
He said Akufo Addo will make sure the Galamsey fight is over before he leaves office so Ghanaians should hold their peace
