Hearts vs Real Bamako Will Not be Live on GTV

Accra Hearts of Oak fans at home will not enjoy the live coverage of their game against AS Real Bamako on Ghana Television.

Reports indicate that the game, which was initially scheduled to be telecast on the nation’s number one television station has been cancelled.

The reason give is that the Phobians want their fans to fill the stadium to rafters hence the decision to call off the live telecast of the CAF Confederation Cup second leg clash.

The Phobians suffered a heavy loss in the first leg after going down by 3-0 in Bamako.

The second leg is set for the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 16 and the Phobians will look to overturn the heavy loss to stand a chance of qualifying for the next stage of the competition.

Accra Hearts of Oak qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup after coming from a goal down to beat Bechem United 2-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to book the spot.

The Phobians were the maiden winners of the competition in 2004 with the current side hoping to replicate the feat achieved years back.
