The head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has been dealt a huge blow ahead of fhe 2022 FIFA World Cup to be stage in Qatar.
The Black Stars have been paired in group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea for the tournament that starts in November.
The Black Stars started their preparations with two international friendly games last month and had mixed results in both games.
The first game against record World Cup holders, Brazil ended on a bad note with the Black Stars losing 3-0 in France.
The second game against Central American side, Nicaragua produced some positives for Otto Addo after the team posted a 1-0 win in Spain.
The Black Stars are set to play Switzerland in a final game to but it is likely they will not be having their fold Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Richard Ofori for the friendly and the World Cup due to injury.
The ebony black goalkeeper sustained an injury while playing for Orlando Pirates against Amazulu.
