A young Ghanaian man, George Kofi Bondzie who is presently residing in Spain has told DJ Nyaami on the SVTV Africa YouTube platform that he really wants to come back to Ghana despite the comparative huge wages he earns there.
George recounts that he works as a cleaner in a slaughterhouse in Spain and his monthly salary is €1,200 (₵12,610) but apparently that does not meet his requirement and would love to come back to his native country.
The young man offered more information about his voyage, saying that he had first left Ghana for Italy before making his way to Spain.
Continuing, he said he joined his father who was already there and remained with him for two years without finding employment because he lacked the necessary paperwork.

Eventually, he married a Spanish woman, through which he obtained the necessary documents to begin working.
He claims to have lived overseas for six years, but he has only been working full-time for two of those years.

George intimated that although living abroad is more financially beneficial, he would still prefer to leave due to the stress involved.
