
Controversial Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale also known by fans as 1DON was on Tv3’s 360 on October 14, 2022.
Hosted by popular radio and television personality Giovani Celeb, Shatta Wale spilled out a lot of things the public probably didn’t know about.
What caught our attention among the several things he spoke about was his claim that he has been able to acquire 7 mansions without the support of media houses.
The African dancehall king disclosed that he charges 100 thousand dollars for shows, adding that he is the only Ghanaian artiste to ever charge and get paid 100 thousand dollars for shows, three in a row.
He went ahead to state that he was paid the aforementioned amount to perform at the first edition of the afro-nation concert held in Ghana.
The second concert he was paid 100 thousand dollars to perform was the 2021 Wildaland Festival which is a brainchild of Ghanaian businessman and politician, Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu, also the CEO of 3Music Networks, organizers of the 3Music Awards.
The third show he was billed at 100 thousand dollars was made by American rapper Cardi B, who visited Ghana and held a concert in December 2019.
According to Shatta Wale, he didn’t perform at the two latter events because they violated the terms and conditions of their agreement. Watch the video below;
