Hearts of Oak legend, Sam Johnson has charged the playing body to show their worth against AS Real Bamako in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Phobians will look to overturn a 3-0 first leg loss against the Malian club in the reverse fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 16.
Sam Johnson who played for the Phobians years back, spoke to Radio Gold Talk Sport.
“This is the time the players have to show what they have because for the start of the season, things are or going on well.
“This one also has come to make things more difficult for them but this is the time they have to show the kind of players they are which we know they can do it but it’s not going to be easy.
“It’s going to be very tough because from the beginning we saw the coaching issues that started even before they went for the CAF Confederation Cup.
“And they came back with a very bad result and to score three after losing 3-0 away is not going to be easy.
“Let’s not forget also our motto that “Never Say Die, until the bones are rotten.”
“They have to show it this time, they can do it, Hearts of Oak have done it before so everyone needs to support them.” Sam Johnson told Radio Gold Talk Sport
