The Anomabo Community’s Best Fisherman, Nana Kwame Sankah, confirmed the occurrence to Class News. He also divulged that this is not the first time an incidence of this kind has taken place in the community.

He was taken aback by the fact that the dead individual had traveled all the way to that remote location only to defecate on some pebbles.

In addition, Mr. Sankah denounced the habit of defecating in public by throwing waste into the water and demanded that it be stopped.

He said that the community would conduct rituals in the water to request forgiveness for the departed in order to recover his corpse. These ceremonies would take place in the water.

The search for the corpse of the dead has not produced any results as of yet, despite the number of fishermen who have gone out to sea to look for the body of the deceased.

Since then, the event was reported to the Anomabo Police Station so that investigations might be conducted into it.
