Ghana football giants Accra Hearts of Oak SC has officially apologized to their supporters for the heavy 3-0 away loss to Real Bamako in Mali yesterday in the CAF Confederation Cup.
This second preliminary round first leg encounter, was played at the Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako with the return fixture set to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium next Sunday.
The Phobians, have however promised to work hard to overturn the result in Ghana next weekend, to qualify to the next round of the campaign.
Saturday’s game, was a painful loss for Hearts of Oak who were hoping to get a good result to take into the return encounter in Accra.
They have massive work to do if they hope to qualify to the next round, with Real Bamako in a very comfortable lead from the first leg result.
Overturning this result though, is not beyond the Phobians, as they have achieved some remarkable successes in such situations in the past.
Whether they can repeat this feet of yesteryear though, remains to be seen, and, it will take a performance of great magnitude on their part to achieve this.
